The June Sprint: From "Build" to "Launch"

It’s done.

After weeks of juggling schedules, battling bugs, and fitting development into every spare hour I had, the GlomeSpace Shopify App is officially ready for production.

I’m submitting it for review this coming week.

If all goes according to plan, by the start of June, we’ll be live. We’ll be onboarding our first Shopify sellers and moving into a summer of aggressive marketing and growth. It’s a pivot I’ve been waiting for: moving from "Building in the Dark" to "Operating in the Light."

The Lesson: The Danger of the "Drift" As I looked at the calendar this morning, it hit me—we are standing on the edge of summer.

In the startup world, it’s easy to let seasons slip by. You get so caught up in the "hustle" that you wake up in September wondering where the year went. But I’ve realized that whether you are launching an app or planning a vacation, success depends on Intentional Strategy.

If you don't lay out a plan for the next 90 days, the time will go unnoticed. You’ll drift instead of drive.

How to Own Your Next 3 Months. Whether your summer involves scaling a business or reconnecting with family, here is how to make sure these three months count:

  1. Define Your "Production" Goal: What is your version of my Shopify App? What is the one thing you want to have "live" by August?
  2. Schedule the "Unstructured" Time: If you want to visit relatives or travel, put it on the calendar now. If it isn’t a strategy, it’s just a wish.
  3. Audit Your Marketing: We are moving into a marketing-heavy summer at GlomeSpace. Ask yourself: How am I "marketing" my skills or my goals to the world right now?

The Bottom Line I’m excited—and honestly, a little nervous—for what this summer holds. But I know that the work we’ve put in during the "quiet months" is what will make the "loud months" successful.

Don't let the sun set on August 31st without knowing exactly what you accomplished.

What about you? What is your "Big Move" for the summer? Are you learning a new skill, visiting old friends, or launching something of your own?

Keep journeying,

Best Regards,

Integrity Over Speed: A Founder’s Story

This week, a story surfaced in the tech world that serves as a necessary, brutal reality check: the fall of the compliance startup, Delve. Delve promised companies a way to bypass the months of grueling work required for SOC 2 compliance. They used AI to promise "instant certification." The market was hungry for it. They raised millions. They were a YC-backed darling. Then, the truth came out. The "AI-powered" speed was a facade. The evidence was fabricated. The audits were rubber-stamped. In...

This week, the tech world watched the courtroom clash between Elon Musk and Sam Altman reach a final, decisive end. After a three-week trial, the jury reached a verdict in less than two hours: The case is dismissed. But here is the detail that matters most: The jury didn't rule on the merits of Musk’s claims. They didn’t decide who had the better vision for OpenAI. They simply decided that Musk waited too long to act. He missed the legal window, and with that, his multi-billion dollar...

We have a massive announcement today. The GlomeSpace Shopify App was officially submitted and is currently in the review period. Once the green light comes through, we are executing a full launch on Product Hunt and officially opening our doors for business. The engine is primed, the code is ready, and the next chapter is about to begin. But right now? There is absolute silence. We are in the queue. And if you’ve ever built something, you know that this waiting period can feel agonizing. When...
